Our Story

Hello! I’m Tasha, the founder and head baker at Jayden's Joy. My journey began several years ago when I set out to recreate traditional recipes for my son, Jayden. At just 10 months old, Jayden was diagnosed with multiple severe food allergies. He couldn’t eat foods containing wheat, dairy, eggs, corn, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, shellfish, sesame, or various gums and preservatives.

As a result, we developed a very restricted diet for him, but we quickly realized that even many gluten-free products contained ingredients like xanthan gum and corn, which he couldn’t tolerate.

One of the most eye-opening moments came on Jayden’s first birthday when he had an allergic reaction to what was supposed to be an allergen-free cake. The baker had unknowingly included corn derivatives. That was when I, a novice baker at the time, took matters into my own hands. I started experimenting in the kitchen, researching allergen derivatives and carefully sourcing safe ingredients to bake for my son.

With limited options available in stores, baking became a special bonding activity for us. Jayden and I would create new recipe variations, laugh, play, and enjoy each other’s company. That experience inspired me to help others enjoy the same joy of baking, despite dietary restrictions, which is why I’m proud to offer our allergen-free baking mixes.

I’m deeply passionate about providing safe, allergen-free options for children and adults with food sensitivities and restricted diets. Jayden's Joy is my small way of turning life’s challenges into something sweet and joyful

Our Purpose
We were founded in response to the growing need for safer, healthier options within the food allergy community. After becoming an "allergy mom" and constant label-reader, I began crafting recipes that are free from the top 8 allergens, gums, and artificial ingredients.
